Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, is among India’s most esteemed universities, recognised for its focus on innovation, research and student-centred teaching.

Established in 1992-93 by Prof. Achyuta Samanta with only12 students and two teachers, KIIT has grown into a world-class institution offering abundant academic and extra-curricular opportunities.

About KIIT International Model United Nations (KIIT MUN)

The KIIT International Model United Nations (KIIT MUN) stands as a prestigious global forum, organised by the student body of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology under the aegis of KSAC. Since its establishment in 2013, KIIT MUN has firmly established itself as a benchmark of diplomacy and deliberation.

In 2016, it earned worldwide acclaim by hosting the largest Model United Nations, with approximately 2,500 delegates participating. KIIT MUN showcased adaptability during the pandemic by hosting Asia’s largest virtual MUN in 2021. Through collaborations with international organisations and leading MUN conferences, KIIT MUN has reinforced its position as a global leader in advancing international cooperation and fostering global harmony.

The registrations for KIIT International Model United Nations 2025 are now officially open. The conference is scheduled to be held on 5th, 6th and 7th December 2025, and this year’s theme, “Voice to Vision,” reflects our commitment to empowering young minds to transform ideas into impactful global discourse.

KIIT International MUN has steadily grown into one of the most distinguished student-led conferences in the country. The 2025 edition will feature 15 diverse and intellectually stimulating committees, offering delegates the opportunity to engage with pressing international issues, refine their diplomatic skills, and collaborate with participants from various institutions.

The students of both school and college are warmly welcomed by this notable gathering, and young visionaries from high schools and universities are invited to delightful debates and intellectual friendship.

Registration Fees

The delegates are allowed to take part in the KIIT International Model United Nations for a small fee that indicates the importance of international diplomacy, thus reflecting the honor.

One delegate can enter for ₹1800, and two can sign up together for ₹3600, which includes the access to enlightening sessions, gracious hospitality, and a myriad of remarkable experiences that are worthy of this magnificent event.
