Who Can Apply:

  • Susan Grant was a beloved mother and an active presence in the Seattle Public Schools District for thirty-six years.
  • Her influence touched countless people and inspired many, including students and teachers alike. She constantly instilled lifelong lessons promoting positivity, safety, compassion, teamwork, and so much more. She was not only devoted to her family and students but also to her community.
  • This scholarship seeks to honor the impactful life of Susan Jeanne Grant by supporting students in Washington who are invested in their groups and organizations, have a desire to follow a career and technical education (CTE) pathway, and encompasses what it means to grow within your community.
  • This scholarship is for any high school senior in Washington who plans to attend a community college, a four-year college, or a trade school. We further encourage them to apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re interested in agriculture,business, marketing, culinary, hospitality,education, human services, health, medical sciences, information technology, media arts, skilled trades, or STEM. The student should be involved in their student body, extracurricular organizations, and or volunteering.
