We know the pain it can cause, and thank you for your understanding. You can imagine that Trekup India has also faced significant difficulties this year, primarily due to logistics, equipment, and staff shortages until July 2025. Natural hazards have impacted activities at Hampta Pass, making it an uneasy year for participants and the organizers.
To give our trekkers, we’re offering the following options:
Shift to Alternate Himalayan Treks, it is possible to change your reservation to any of the following treks available:
Har Ki Dun Trek (6N/7D)
Kedarkantha Trek (4N/5D)
Rupin Pass Trek (6N/7D)
Bali Pass Trek (7N/8D)
Dayara Bugyal Trek (3N/4D)
Sandakphu Phalut Trek (6N/7D)
Gaumukh & Tapovan Trek (7N/8D)
Date Change
We recommend against delaying the date of your reservation for the Hampta Pass in the same year since the hike is expected to be shut for the remainder of the year. Based on previous experience and current weather trends, it is likely that we will see snow accumulations early in October, making it nearly impossible for travelers to travel through. So, Hampta Pass will open this year, around June 2026.
An announcement of the ski slope’s closure for the remainder of the season will be posted separately on our site.
Trek Voucher
If trekkers are unable to change in a hurry, we offer trek vouchers for twelve months that can be used towards any trek in the future with Trekup India.
