Tuesday 05 December, 2023, Vancouvers celebrated the soccer career of Christine Sinclair by a friendly game with Australia in Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium.
Vancouver’s Science World also noted the event decking out the dome as a soccer ball.
Sinclair has a storied history in the soccer world.
She played in six Women’s World Cups and scored in five of them.
Sinclair is an Olympic gold medallist, two-time Olympic bronze medallist, CONCACAF champion, and 14-time winner of the Canada Soccer Player of the Year award,
Sinclair is the world’s all-time leader for international goals scored for men or women with 190 goals, and is one of the most-capped active international soccer players.
