A slightly grimmer day on the Saturday, contrary to the weather forecast which suggested that Sunday would be the worse of the two days.
What can I say about the game? We looked pony in the first half, and could probably have gone one-nil down had PSG not gone for the "smash it and see" approach, and some impressive awareness from Almunia after an unusual Toure error. Then we surprisingly scored. Second half was a lot brighter, at least as far as the team concerned. We looked very strong going forward and eventually scored again. Couldn’t see much of the PSV goal, though the penalty from Bendtner looked pretty poor, bring on Gil – Berto!!!
Good result and a good weekend.
