The Dirty Dozen is an upcoming Indian action comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.It is the sequel to the 2010 hit, Housefull. The film features actors from the first movie Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh, with new additions included to the cast such as John Abraham, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee and Shreyas Talpade.It also features veteran actors such as Mithun Chakraborty, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Boman Irani in supporting roles.
Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh remain in the lead from the original. Malaika Arora Khan features in an item-number song. The music is composed by Sajid-Wajid.The official theatrical trailer revealed on 9 February 2012, along with Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The film is scheduled for release on 5 April 2012.
It is the story of four fathers, four daughters and four prospective son-in-laws and as the second half of the title suggests, they are the dirty dozen. Each father wants his daughter to marry the richest son-in-law, Each daughter thinks she is marrying the richest son-in-law. Each son-in-law is pretending to be the richest son-in-law. Each character is flawed, unscrupulous and extremely entertaining. The good news for the audience is that none of these people can stand each other and all of them are under one roof, in one house as the first half of the title suggests – HOUSEFULL.
