Perros-Guirec è un comune nel dipartimento della Côtes-d’Armor in Bretagna, nel nord-ovest della Francia. È una località balneare dalla fine del 19° secolo. Il faro di Ploumanac’h è un faro attivo e la sua struttura è composta da granito rosa, e segna l’ingresso del canale che porta al porto di Ploumanac’h (che significa "piscina dei monaci" in bretone). Il primo faro di Ploumanac’h risale al 1860. Fu distrutto dalle truppe tedesche il 4 agosto 1944 e sostituito dall’attuale faro nel 1946.
Perros-Guirec is a commune in the Côtes-d’Armor department in Brittany in northwestern France. It has been a seaside resort since the end of the 19th century. The Ploumanac’h Lighthouse is an active lighthouse and its structure is composed of pink granite, and marks the entrance to the channel leading to the port of Ploumanac’h (meaning "monk’s pool" in Breton). The first Ploumanac’h Lighthouse dates from 1860. This was destroyed by German troops on August 4, 1944, and replaced by the current lighthouse in 1946.
