Phil Collinson | Catherine Tate | 10th Doctor screening | BFI Doctor Who at 50 - 14

Phil Collinson encouraged Catherine Tate to tell the story of how she thought that the Sontarans were electronic – she had no idea on the first day of filming that there were people inside of them! She joked that she’d been leaning on them. And as she tried to recall the name of the Sontarans, she thought that they were called Sultanas!

The Q&A panel at the screening of the 10th Doctor episodes The Stolen Earth and Journey’s End as part of the BFI’s Doctor Who at 50 season running throughout 2013. On the panel were Graeme Harper (director of stories in both the classic and new series), Phil Collinson (producer, 2005-2008), Catherine Tate (Donna Noble) and David Tennant (10th Doctor).
