Allow me to regale you with a narrative of my whistle-stop photo expedition to the windswept land of Ramanagara! Picture this: a day when the wind was determined to prove it had a beef with my tripod. It fancied itself an Olympic sprinter, determined to crash my party and set new records of gustiness. Between battling the blustery winds, the intermittent drizzle and fighting to keep the tripod grounded, I was able to make this stark scene: the sky above dressed in a threatening mélange of foreboding grey and white, clouds racing one another like jockeys, and those legendary rugged rocks – stoic, tenacious and indomitable, reminiscent of the "Rock in wilderness". They seemed to grin sardonically at the dark forces, as if to say, "Blow all you want, dear wind, we’ll be here longer than your tantrums and fickle gusts!"
Tousled hair, harried tripod, and all went into the making of this photograph!
