Durante todo el día esperamos en medio de la tormenta por una oportunidad para desembarcar en la Isla Decepción (Archipiélago del las Shetland del Sur, Antártida), pero el viento y la nieve no aflojaban… Finalmente, luego de la cena, el viento amainó y pudimos ir a tierra, aunque no por mucho… El viento y la nieve volvieron con todo para acompañarnos durante el resto de la tarde mientras explorabamos los restos de una antigua estación ballenera.
ENGLISH: "Blizzard" We waited for almost the entire day in the middle of the storm for an opportunity to disembark at Deception Island (South Shetland Islands, Antarctica), but the wind and snow were not willing to give us a chance… Finally, after dinner the wind slowed down just enough to try to go ashore, although not by much time… The wind and the snow joined us for the rest of the evening while exploring the remains of an old whaling station.
