…we all fall down

...we all fall down

…It is nice to know that there can be beauty in even our most ungraceful moments.

Working in the world of rehab medicine I’ve been fascinated/terrified how aging barns can parallel the aging human body. Many times the walls (or legs) fail first, leaving the attic (or upper body) capable and able. In some barns I see the roof line (or spine) buckle and crumble, leaving the structure of the barn (or person) forever changed. What I have learned is that regardless of the effects of time, there is always a certain beauty that exists.

As always, all comments are welcome. Please do not use this photo without my permission, thanks!
