HyperOS 2.2 Beta 3 rolling out with new camera features, bug fixes
Xiaomi is rolling out the HyperOS 2.2 Beta 3 for its flagship devices with useful features. The company has also resolved various bugs in the latest update. Perhaps users will get a seamless and enhanced experience than before.
HyperOS 2.2 Beta 3 is reaching Xiaomi 15, Pro, and Ultra models at present. It brings many new optimizations and enhancements that make these devices more reliable.
Android 15-based firmware improves the large font experience and makes gestures smoother. It fixes the touch and volume adjustment issues in the TalkBack mode. Another improvement is in the Calendar app’s interface display.
Even though it’s not mentioned in the changelog, Xiaomi has upgraded the camera icon with the latest beta. It has a minimalistic + animated style and better aligns with HyperOS 2.2 visuals. The outlines are sharper, making the icon more recognizable.
Xiaomi has also removed the red record dot in the upper left corner of the camera icon and enhanced the lens size. You can check the difference below.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed TalkBack touch operation issues in specific situations.
- Fixed volume adjustment issues in Talkback mode.
- Resolved issues with recorders that were recording TalkBack audio.
- Improved the Calendar app selection for status displays
- Introduced proper button announcements for major system apps like Settings, Messages, Contacts, Weather, Notes, and Browser.
