Strawberry Oatmilk Smoothie (Healthy, Non-Dairy and No Banana)

oatmilk smoothie

A strawberry oat milk smoothie is a delicious, wholesome treat that blends the natural sweetness of juicy strawberries with the creamy, comforting texture of oat milk. It’s a great choice for a quick breakfast or snack because it’s dairy-free, fiber-rich, and naturally energizing—plus, it’s gentle on sensitive stomachs. The flavor is like a light, fruity milkshake: sweet, slightly tangy from the berries, and mellowed out by the oats’ soft earthiness. Whether you’re going for a health boost or just a refreshing sip, it’s a feel-good morning smoothie that’s as nourishing as it is tasty.

Oat Milk Smoothie Ingredients

So let’s discuss the simple ingredients I chose for this strawberry oatmilk smoothie and why I selected them. You only need a four ingredients for this yummy smoothie. It is so easy to make!

Strawberries

You can use fresh strawberries or frozen strawberries for this smoothie. I like to use fresh fruit right now because it is strawberry season and so many are available. However, frozen strawberries work just as well in this oat milk smoothie recipe and because strawberries are generally frozen at peak ripeness with no additives, they are just as nutritious. Frozen strawberries may make your smoothie feel a little thicker and colder. If that is not your thing, you can leave one ice cube out of the recipe when using frozen strawberries.

I chose strawberries because they are delicious- sweet, sour, and delectable. So much fruity goodness! Plus, they are a healthy choice. Strawberries are a good source of vitamin C and high in antioxidants.

Oatmilk

I chose Planet Oat Original Oatmilk for its rich, full-bodied flavor, and its creamy texture. It is great for people with food sensitivities because is free from dairy, soy, gluten, peanuts, and tree nuts. Planet Oat Original Oatmilk is a plant-based milk (it is actually made from oats and water) that has only 4g of sugar per serving. It is that rich, creamy taste that makes me love oat milk smoothie recipes.

I also chose Planet Oat Oatmilk because it is nutritious. It’s an excellent source of calcium and vitamin A & D, has no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and is non-GMO. It has 2g of soluble fiber and 2g of protein per serving.

Maple Syrup

Maple syrup is a great choice for a natural sweetener and I love it in smoothies because of its liquid form that blends so readily for an easy, and complete blending of flavors. You can skip it for a no added sugar version but it sure is tasty! Or you can substitute agave nectar if that is your personal preference.

Ice Cubes

The ice makes a smoothie cold and gives it a full body texture. It also helps you hydrate and feel full.

How To Make Strawberry Smoothie With Oat Milk

This smoothie with oat milk is easy to make!

First, measure Planet Oat Oatmilk and pour it into the high speed blender.

Next, add strawberries. If you are using fresh strawberries, you can slice off the tops or just pull the leaves off and drop the whole strawberries in the high-speed blender.

Drizzle in the maple syrup.

Finally, add ice cubes. I always go light on the ice cubes because I don’t like mine too thick. So you may have to add extra if you enjoy thicker smoothies.
