This recipe is exactly what I have been looking for!!! I have been thinking along these lines for a recipe like this. We eat a lot of venison stew which is our favorite but chicken is another meat we like to eat a lot of. Thanks Catherine!!
Catherine when I see someone else recipe like the creamy chicken crock pot stew can't get all of it;:I know who I can get it from that's u; I'm asking can I add sour cream and cream of chicken to the pot please please let me know thank u thank u sooooo much for all the recipes u have and I have made soooo many of your even ysty eve made one but instead of the tomatoes I can't have the seeds I used a can of tomato sauce call my son he lives so close I see his kitchen light in the winter time told him what I have made in the dutch pot here he comes gets a big bowl but he has to have corn bread then txt me later said that was good if u have some left over I'm coming tmrw I txt back there is plenty; thank u and please answer I want to well going to make the creamy chicken stew in the crock oot
I am a76 year old widower and have never really cooked. I just ordered my first crockpot because I love stews and chili. I love how you showed the sizes to cut items so they cook properly. It’s great that you don’t assume people know these basics.
Hi Catherine. My husband had a mini stroke in July. His appetite has really changed. He prefers soups or stews. So I’m always looking for those meals. This looks perfect. Thank you. A change from same ol chicken noodle.
Doing this today with cooked chicken from Costco.I'll wait until the last half hour and put the chix in after i warmed it up.I'll let you know.This looks really good!

Very nurturing and warming dish in winter. I like one dish meals a lot, like soups and stews in winter. The seasonings were perfect. A big bowl of this comfort stew with hot buttery biscuits was perfect. Thank you again.
