Were the controllers even sensitive enough for you to actually make use of the 'moreoomph' cheat? I can only imagine crashing continually would make your overall time slower than it would be without the cheat xD

Yeah, there were some incredible codes back then to fool around with. Around the PS2 era you had to experiment with something like the Gameshark. Now there's pretty much nothing available. I can't remember many particularly weird ones. Not sure how well it worked, but Tekken 2 had a cheat that basically turned the game into Punch-Out.
Nice! I like the idea of a series about cheats! I remember so many cheats from the old NES, SNES, Genesis years. Like getting the 2nd quest in the original Legend of Zelda, the Justin Bailey code in Metroid, the Mortal Kombat blood code and the Konami code of course. There's the level select code in Sonic 2 as well. I could go on…. lol

I remember in Die Hard Trilogy you could play a mode where everyone was a skeleton
