  1. What if I’m the spouses that has a disability and I didn’t/couldn’t work I am trying to request alimony and no kids

  2. My divorce was final in 2001 . A lot of bs went on to get this to a divorce. ( cheating & lies ) We left USA to go overseas. Over three months later he told me he needed me to divorce him . Then his dead mother showed up ( his lie) . His mother said out loud Zxxx you want an American we will get you an American . 1999 I was put on a plane for USA . Never heard from him . I withdrew my petition with him . Followed the Attorneys advice did what was required & I was divorced in 2001. He didn’t show up . 2025 I’ve never heard from him. He still ghosts me & he’s the 1 probably putting out divorce papers in random spots for me to find . A lot could have been resolved if he would have just shown up. But no he was out finding another American to use . I’m happy I’m divorced from that liar . 8 years of my life with great lessons .

  6. How long should the marriage be enabled for either spouse to be qualified for spouses support?

  7. I went through a lot of financial crisis after my divorce, I had to raise my two kids alone, Currently I'm living smart and frugal with my money. Bought my second house already. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for me; even till now I earn monthly through passive income. Investing is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  8. Will the judge sign off on an uncontested divorce if my soon to be ex-wife gets significantly less than half of the assets? I am in Georgia and she committed adultery which automatically makes her ineligible to get alimony. I can get her on her own will to accept about 20% of the money in my accounts. We have a daughter and are going to do 50/50 split custody. Also my house is in my father's name with my name secondary. And most of the money in my account is a recent inheritance from my grandfather's passing so she also can't touch that. We have never combined out money. We do have a joint account with only a couple thousand dollars in it but it was always used as my account. I moved all of the money out of that account a few years ago into an account with just my name on it.

She contributed very little monetarily to the household the whole marriage even though she makes about 75% of what I make. The only thing she ever paid for was groceries, toiletries, and cloths and small items for my daughter, but yet she is somehow always broke. She is terrible with money and I don't want to see what I worked for years to build just wasted. I will always give her any money she needs to make sure that my daughter has the best life possible, but frankly she never contributed enough to the household to deserve half. And she knows it which is why she will agree to a smaller amount.

I really don't want to go the contested at-fault route and waste a bunch of money on lawyers. If needed can we do uncontested at-fault divorce in Georgia? I can't seem to find any information about that online.

Sorry for the long post. Just feeling a lot of emotions right now. I am personally not even bothered with it, but I am absolutely devastated for my daughter. I can't understand how someone could do that when they have such a precious life at home. It honestly feels like true evil to me. She is still living here right now and begging me to go to counseling to try to fix it, but that is only because she got caught and knows her life is about to be much worse. I just want what is best for my daughter and I don't think it would be good for her to see me look at her mother with hatred everyday. I will never be able to see her the same.

If both spouses work and one has not put forth the effort into their career, why should they be entitled to maintain their lifestyle lol divorce is made for the court system and lawyers to make money. Period. 😊

  22. It would be nice if the court would take into consideration how people manage their money. I work with a guy who pays 1,600.00 a month child support.
