  2. This is super quackish writing absolutes is dumb rest elevation and of course active rom is important in recovery. Saying don't rest is dumb

  3. You don't need rehab right away just because you sprained your ankle. Maybe for too severe cases.

    Got sprained a few times,
    R – rest
    I – ice
    C – compression
    E – elevation

    It works for me all the time.

  5. Brothers I am here suffering currently 4 contusion sprains, I’m already doing taekwondo again. Body of a human is supposed to heal itself. This morning I spinning back kicked a vicious rabid coyote while walking approximately I’ll say when I received my hospital discharge papers that same day yesterday around 10pm 🕙 I couldn’t walk no more and called for a lift at 6am. Fell asleep, got up trying to walk but at times my knees buck sharply and my ankle pain is on both ankles while walking on my feet 👣 I can’t go for longer than probably twenty minutes of struggling to walk. I still can chamber all my kicks 🦵 both sides, front kicks and round houses fine. Walking I’ll skip ⏭️ until I can do quick switch kicks 🦵. I’ve been able to do a lot more than this a week ago. Demoted from black belt 🥋 to orange 🍊 0-100 real quick.

  13. I mean i had swelling my ankle was 3 times its normal size immediately after severely twisting my ankle and it had popped. I could not put any pressure and it was swollen and bruised for days. Im pretty sure resting it was necessary.

  19. nope..we just did use ice shaves from the fridge within 48hours from occurence of twisting or sprain and it did well after 4 sessions..

  24. Recently my Atfl was completely tear and i went to doctor and he did a cast and tools me to wait for 6 to 8 weeks with out wait bearing it will heal automatically is it true that it will heal automatically please reply it means a lot

  27. I have a 10 year old ankle injury and it hurts every winter. My doc has done x-ray on it and he says there is no injury, so nothing to worry about. But it hurts every winter and it tires me after some time.
    Should I get some other tests done or any exercise which could help me.
    Please help me 🙏

  28. I sprained my ankle twice in one week. The repetition of that is that I figured out that ice doesn't work after 24 hours after you sprained it. And my parents didn't give a shit. They still made me do all my sports. 😢😢😢😢

  29. Rice is suitable for initial injury. After that you must do exercise rehab. Meaning during in the present moment of injury, rice is gonna help you reduce the swollen area or reduce the inflammation

  31. What an idiot. Of course you NEED TO REST AND ICE THE SPRAINED ANKLE FIRST TO AVOID FURTHER SWELLING AND TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE PAIN. WHEN THE SWELLING HAS SUBSIDED, YOU THEN START DOING THE EXERCISES.

  32. i sprained my ankle yesterday😢 hears how i sprained it: It was my birthday and i asked for high heels. And you see i have stairs in my house and i walked down them and rolled my ankle, btw it hurts really bad

  33. So I did some actually calf stretches and mobilization things on those lines and since mine wasn’t super serious, it did help within the hour, but if it’s more serious, probably would take longer

  34. Dumb take Honestly because if you spained your ankle badly you can't do anything painfree. Rest about as long as you need and then when the pain dicreases do more activity. Listen to your body !
