All these people saying they never knew this – are you serious? Did you grow up playing it in a different era like on the GBA or something? Back in the NES days this was one thing EVERYONE knew about. It was the one code that was universally known.
1. This was in the manual, so RTFM if you can find one. 2. I, honestly, think it was added during play testing so that they could beat the game (a requirement of Nintendo to release a game at the time)..
A fun fact the internet taught me a while ago. I don’t recall it being in the instruction booklet and I used to read them on my way home waiting to play the game.
I wonder why this wasn’t literally an option on the start screen?
Now I need to go check if it works on two player mode. Maybe that is why they didn’t have it as an option because then they would need four total options on the menu.
That or they just added this feature after developing and coding the start screen.
wait…
WHAT?!
This game wasn't hard at all. The hardest thing was having your Nintendo not freeze before you could finish it.
How can i do in my game boy
As member in the Swedish Nintendo club in the -80s we could call their hotline and get pro tips like this.. good ol’ days!
for those knows the shortcut pipelines, it's not a big problem. we have to play only 8 levels and beat only 1 boss of 8th world.
real players start all over again and dont use continue.
