I live in Hybla Valley Alexandria Virginia where the sidewalks are not leveled, lots of inclines, some are raised, some are sunk. I have many different health issues that have caused my feet to be an absolute mess!
Earlier today (Mother's Day May 11, 2025) I tripped and fell and the pain in my left foot is at the base of the toes and at the top of the ball of the left foot.
What can I do at home until I see my foot doctor, thanks ahead of time.
I been having this problem since I started riding a bike three years ago. Even though my X-Rays show no signs of Gout, arthritis or inflammation. This pain will start at any given time.
I was an avid runner and now I have come To a complete stop! This top of foot pain is no joke two drs two sets of X-rays and 1 very expensive MRI to just be told no weight bearing on it for 8 weeks the other dr said walk with a carbon insole no good still in pain .. I’ve researched and have found this and may just be the solution which otc insoles do you recommend ? I orders power step pinnacle max not they haven’t arrived so not sure if they will work
Every time i kick a soccer ball hard in the shoe lace area my foot gets swollen and hurts. I got an x ray and came out good but never got an MRI. My podiatrist suspected it was nerve damage.
i step and i suddenly have this pain on my left under foot, under the heal near the middle of my feet near the toes. I don't know if this is because of age. I keep getting aches and pains. Sometimes my legs will numb and feel heavy when i clean the floor while squatting.
Thanks doc, no extraneous admixtures or secretly trying to make it worse to sell surgeries and pills, the rare doctor who actually wants to help and cure
I tried the "new" thin soled shoes that were supposed to be better for your feet. Within a few months i noticed after laying on a couch for a few min, when i stood up my feet didn't want to bend and they're was pain at the top of my feet. I bet this is the issue. I guess with high arches you shouldn't go barefoot often??
I’m an avid exercise walker but upper foot pain entered the picture and made some days impossible. Added support cushioning to my shoes and instantly improved the situation, thank you!!!
I had a collapsed foot / Fallen Arches when i was running vigorously…, had foot pain and made a clicky sound on the ankle every morning. Found this video and this makes so much sense. Starting wearing the foot arch support today and it feels very comfortable . This has helped me so much. Bless you Doc!
I have orthotics,, but I experience pain on the top of my right foot often. I drive a truck so my right foot is always extended out. Either on the throttle or the brake. And I even have a block on the throttle pedal so I'm not so far extended. Any advice please.

I have a high arch foot and get same pain
That's fine and dandy but what about pain when not wearing shoes? I got some good insoles and it's not helping. When I walk barefoot the tops hurt.
