It’s funny to see nowadays when we decide what we love to listen how low some big artists went on the map. There was times when there was no way you couldn’t have heard the new Beyoncé song or someone else’s and now I haven’t even heard a new song of the majority of those people in decades. It’s real funny at the music awards events they still have awards for music and there are like trillion others better song and albums.
Don't really agree about the music industry transitioning to include other genre artists that aren't easy to digest pop – if anything I'd argue its getting worse
Nooo cuz im dyslexic asf and i read Charlie as Garlic xx and i was like “damn thats a bold name to have in the industry” and it took me a painful minute to realize who she was (sorry i know sone songs but i shall never remember their name unless they ate big BIG)
Chapel Rome or whatever her name is reminds me of a watered down version of lady Gaga. Not special, not new. She does however actually give a shit, which is nice to see!
I was honestly so sick of the manufactured top 40 that were written for people and not by people. Charli and Chappell are songwriters, saying what they want, not just a voice to sing somebody else’s words. I’m really optimistic about the pop scene recently.
