Slow blues rhythm ideas – Several variations on what chords to use- blues rhythm guitar lesson EP398

  1. It is A9/C# (bass). (There's a handy chord app, guitarre which allows you to chose the bass for each type of chord to identify a tricky one) I've been going crazy understanding that chord since taking it from a poorly taught lesson on Stormy Monday ages ago, it doesn't quite fit into the standard taught arpeggios and inversions, which made it hard to trace; even though these are blues staples. It was a missing link in my understanding enough theory. These lessons are a gem to move from copying to improvising for both backing rhythms for solos and stand t alone pieces. I'm gutted I signed up for the wrong teacher this year, but I'll sub Active Melody next I'm sure.

  2. And you're laughing all the way to the bank my dear friend

  3. So yeah I have encouragement

  4. So humor is good right, this is one of my favorite lessons, it's the little tweak on the e-string sounded a little bit like a fart oh, I'm sorry but we were laughing they love your lessons too

  5. De lo mejor que he visto y oído hasta ahora. Felicitaciones.

  6. Wow, Brian! If you made an album of your compositions I would listen all day! I always hope for more verses in your demos. Thanks again!

  7. Hi Brian, what's going to your 400th lesson, I am sure it will be great. It's a great milestone.

  8. Soulful and Sweet 👍🙏

  9. Would help if you started off with a count. It's tricky to feel where one is.

  10. Cool lesson! Thank you! Sometimes I'm confused with time signature. I think it's worth to mention it briefly at the beginning.

  11. What sought of amp do you use with the Tele ?

  12. Love this lesson, so many cool chords to play around with. Getting very late here so will definitely sit down to watch this again tomorrow with my guitar strapped on to noodle along and get some of these chords under my fingers. The reason that hammer-on sounds great is quite easy by the way – it’s just you lifting the chord from the minor to major 3rd. Right, bedtime.

  13. Man just wanted to say thanks for inspirational and great cool informative lessons you got me back to digging further than I ever tried to been playing for years cowboy chords basics and few fills hold my own thing but you got me wanting to go to that next level that I really deep wanted to be at ….. Brother would greatly appreciate if you know the bass maybe throw some basic blues bass and just bass in general I'm sure those of us out here that would like to add to the resume definitely your one to teach and reach us…. thanks Bryan !!!!!

  14. Brilliant lesson Brian. Lots to learn and use here. Has the Vega been retired? It would have been perfect for this.

  15. Really good lesson Brian.
