So fine, don’t give alimony. But then the boy’s side should bear half of the wedding expenses, and if they didn’t do so, they should return that money at the time of divorce. And the dowry money should also be returned. Financially independent women won’t take alimony anyway.
If a wife leaves her husband and children and goes with her lover without any reason, does the court order the mother to pay for the children's expenses? If not, why not? But if a father leaves his wife and children and goes with his lover, the court orders the father to pay for the children and his wife's expenses. Where is justice? Where is equality?

Alimony का कोई रेट फिक्स नही है, लड़की जितना चाहे मांग सकती है और लड़के को उतना देना ही होगा.
प्रॉपर्टी का रेट, गेहूं चावल का रेट, पेट्रोल का रेट, बैंक में ब्याज दर, गैस का रेट, भारत में हर चीज का रेट पहले से ही सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित है पर alimony का कोई रेट सेट नही है यहाँ पर लड़की को पूरी आजादी दी गई है मन चाहा माँगने की.
अगर alimony कम हो या एक निश्चित वाजिफ दाम पहले से ही सरकार द्वारा सेट हो तो अधिकांश तलाक होंगे ही नही.
Alimony में मिलने वाले पैसो का लोभ ही आज के समय में अधिकांश तलाक होने का मुख्य कारण है.
पत्नी ने अगर बहुत साल बिताये है पति के साथ और बच्चे हो गये बड़े बड़े तो करोड़ो रूपए की alimony मांगना सही है पर आजकल तो ससुराल में कुछ दिन या कुछ महीनों बिताए लड़की भी करोड़ो रूपए मांग रही है जो की alimony के नियम का गलत नाज़ायज इस्तेमाल है.
