Dame Diana was a comedic genius and it's a blessing that she was able to share her talents at the end of her long and illustrious career. Between Extras and Game of Thrones, she was definitely one of the funniest ladies on television, and a force of nature to be reckoned with!

When I first saw this show and the camera cut to her with the condom on her head, I felt the mortification down to my toes. Watching it again now and seeing Dame Diana's reaction, I lay here kicking my feet and giggling like a little girl.
I'm American, and I think in general people put others down for one of two reasons:
1) They've hurt you.
2) They go on and on about how awesome they are.
Given our overactive military policies and media saturation of USA #1! USA #1! USA #1!, I would guess it's a combination of the two.
