What if the over pronation is from being born with club foot
For me it was my feet didn’t have an arch as soon as I created an arch my whole body posture got fix
Excellent educational video. Thank you so very much for explaining foot pronation. You have a new subscriber
Could this also be care of pain in ball of foot when walking?
I wonder if years on wearing house slides caused this— Do you recommend walking barefoot at home?
Danke!
I’m only about 1/4 of the way through this video and it is SO informative. Everything is very well explained! I have a little one with major over-pronation & toe walking, and this has been so helpful! Thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
I've had foot & knee issues for years, orthotics, a bunionectomy and physical therapy and no doctor or therapist ever explained what's going on so clearly. I just subscribed & I'm going to check out your exercises next. Thank you!
I’m dealing with this now with pain in my hip in the front. Waiting to see a physical therapist and just want the pain to end. Not sure if I’ll need surgery. You explained everything I’ve gone through with my leg tho
What about if you have very high arches ? Arch pain leg pain back pain
Thank you so much!
I have this after my tib fib surgery. I didn't do much movement on my ankle
i have really bad pronation 😭
Thank you so much for this! I recently got back heavily into running and races, and when I went to update my shoes after my marathon, I was told my Achilles and right knee pain was from not supporting my arch. For years. So I'm working on it!!
This is like someone verbalizing all the stuff I’ve had issues with as I’ve approached 40. Excellent education here
What can I do to help my daughter? She’s only 2 and I can already see that her feet are pronating. I’d like to try and address it as early as possible for her.
Great vid
Thank you for making this video. I’ve seen many doctors about knee pain and hip pain mostly knee. I’ve been prescribed meds meds and shots and braces and xrays to deal with it… after researching BY MYSELF why my knees are inwards and shoes funny looking after wearing for a while. This is the problem. Again thank you for the educational video.
I had a bad fall down the stairs of my building and it tore up my R knee. I was in exceptional shape, rollerskating and doing ballet for exercise. After seeing an orthopede and being told it was probably just a torn meniscus, I went to about five different therapists because I could tell something was wrong when I was walking, not matter how carefully I focused on my heel to toe step. Not one would watch me walk. Had they done so, they would have seen my femur was going in a different direction from my foot and lower leg. I went to see my Alexander Technique practitioner, Clair Maxwell, and she could see that there was something mechanically wrong with my knee. There was nothing left inside. Just bone on bone. After three surgeries, including a total knee replacement, my L knee is now gone and I'm having to kind of learn to walk all over again.
Hello, good video, you're one of the rare people on Youtube to explain it well.
Please, do you have solutions for the 2nd root cause ? My left foot lacks supination ROM, there is a clear difference when I stretch it compared to the right one. I stretched to gain inversion/supination but it left me with peroneal muscles tendonitis :p
SO THAT'S WHY MY KNEES HURT
Thank you
Did we work the hip too in that video?
I really hate that you said how to fix it in the video title and you dont go over how to fix it but say at the end go to the link in bio. This fucking world man
Do you recommend barefoot shoes for those with flat feet to develop your arch muscles ?
I have that, and I also notice my shoes on the right foot always wear out on my big toe. Is that a problem with over pronation too?
But in my case , acl and meniscus tear and then overpronation happen , but i m not go for surgery
