I told my doctor, and she could see the swelling. She prescribed a cream that has a pepper base (capsaicin)She did say it could be a nerve entrapment. But she never suggested any way to fix it. She said I could go to a foot doctor if it didn't get any better.
I have the same thing on a foot that has been getting more pronated toward the inside. It's been over two months, and I have swelling too, right there to the side of where he is working. That small area of muscle is where my pain is. I don't know if I can do this myself though, and what is he using? What would do as a nerve dis-entangler?
I had an oblation (if that’s how you spell it) done a few years back guaranteed me 100% that it would work. Well, it didn’t. Been dealing with this for 4 years now after I came out of the hospital with covid. I do know I have a dead nerve in my lower back. But all my drs just want to do surgery. Last surgery I had put me in the hospital with covid and almost died. I don’t see any nerve on my feet like you see in the video. So this worries me. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated.

I believe I'm having a similar case (also from running). I'm getting an "elastic band being pulled and released" or "pop" feeling at my lower shin whenever I flex my ankle with a straightened leg. Feels like a minor entrapment of the superficial peroneal nerve
My left foot is fine. My right foot for the last week has had the most painful thing going on.
If I hit the top of my foot with my heel, the pain is through the roof. It’s like electrical jolts through to my toes extremely painful. I’m not a runner so I don’t know how this happened but yikes
I’ve been complaining for over 2 yrs? Finally something is being done!!! I know my body better than anyone else I live in it! I wish professionals would listen❤️🇨🇦

From research I’ve done, I think I have Diabetic Neuropathy or Peripheral Neuropathy? I can’t seem to get doctors to take this seriously. It feels like pins and needles in my left foot, legs, arms, and hands. I will be talking to my primary doctor again. But, I really like this video.
