Is Aspirin an oral anti-inflammatory medication, and would it help ? Anybody know ?
great video, thank you, Doctor.
Asking for likes, shares, and subscribers before we've even learned anything that you have to say about foot pain and your solutions for it is so ridiculous that I'm making a comment before watching the whole video, which is also ridiculous, but with that kind of intro, I probably won't watch the whole thing.
Thank you
I have too of right foot pain too. Can’t take NSAIDs because of only one kidney(found out recently I was born with just one kidney from an abd ultrasound). Tylenol only hits the pain but very temporary, what hurts is the swelling. And that doesn’t go away
. Currently on prednisone taper. I hope I can heal so I can work.
My pain was a stress fracture on 4th metatarsal. First Dr said take Tylenol when in fact I had a fracture. Second opinion Dr took 1 Xray, said I have a stress fracture. In a boot for 6 weeks! Merry Christmas!
Cortisone… does not cure, make it worse..please remember
Been getting aching in top of foot at bedtime; heat helps but wonder what caused. I do play a lot of golf.
Thank you
I had an MRI due to top of foot pain and constant pain when standing and/or walking. The results are peroneus bevis split tear at the distal to the lateral malleolus and the anterior talobibular ligament is chronically torn. What amazes me is 15 years ago I and a navivular fracture with the same symptoms. My ortho guy is awesome! BTW I'm 77 and very active but not a runner.
I’m 78 and have osteoarthritis. My right foot has a bad bunion but yesterday stepping onto my right foot nearly put me on the ground with a sharp pain on the upper side…something that is totally new. I’d been wearing flip flops recently so maybe the combination of no support plus osteoarthritis?
Thanks so much!
is there an easy test to see if it is a tendons or a bone problem?
Did anyone try changing anything in their diet that might have helped?
An excellent video, very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you very Imformative….Sir seeing you live in Huston Texas I pray you Visit our Ministry called VOH forerunner ministries, Blessings.
Thank you for this information, doctor. I have pain on top of my foot and because of my exercise regime, I'm pretty sure it is a hairline fracture. I was trying to find a good orthopedic device to brace it while it heals, but most only seem to be for ankles, shins, or toes. I'm still looking for one and if you or anyone here has a recommendation, I would happily accept the guidance. Thanks again, doc.
Thank you so much. Great video. It helped me understand what might be going on with my recent foot pain. I'm sure I need some custom orthotics like you suggested and will see my doc. Thx
I was born with club foot and have had 3 corrective unsuccessful surgery. Basically the foot was broken and reset into a rigid position to be able to walk. I walk on the outer edge of my foot and have a lot of problems with callouses.
However now in my 50s I am getting a pain on the top of the my foot. My pain is when the foot rocks forward in the walking motion and I can’t walk unless I turn my foot outwards to be less the pain.
My dilemma now is whether to see a physio, podiatrist , or an orthopaedic surgeon to get more surgery. Short term I ice the foot and try to do self massage. I think it is tendon pain , like a sharp knife pain that literally seizes me up when I walk forward. So sharp that I whince!
I have orthotics and have had special boots in the past but now just use very rigid hiking boots to walk. Keeps my ankle stable as I had Achilles lengthened when I was a child but my heel is still not on the ground.
I know rest is good , but I am on feet a lot.
Thanks for the video
