Xiaomi could begin HyperOS 2.3 (Android 16) stable rollout in July
Xiaomi is working on the HyperOS 2.3 software version, and it seems the company will start rolling out this build in July 2025. A recent piece of information suggests that the Chinese OEM is speeding up the software development for its devices.
According to XiaomiTime, the company will start releasing the Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS 2.3 software version for its eligible phones in July this year.
The tech giant has already begun testing the new build for the flagship Xiaomi 15 smartphone in China and global markets. Perhaps it will open the stable rollout after two months, following the completion of the current testing phase.
Currently, Xiaomi is testing this version on only one device, as other models are busy exploring the HyperOS 2.2 update and its interesting features. Although the company will soon initiate the new build testing for other handsets.
Speaking of the features, HyperOS 2.3 will uproot over Android 16. It will likely bring new changes for the security and privacy sections, a more improved system performance, battery advancements, and updated UI customizations.
