They\u2019re burning them alive. And still people are silent, or are actively supporting Israel, or are spouting mealy-mouthed both-sides gibberish while shrugging their shoulders.<\/p><div class=\"g g-1\"><div class=\"g-single a-10\"><a class=\"gofollow\" data-track=\"MTAsMSwxLDYw\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chemicalfreebody.com\/macro\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"334\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/GREEN-85-400x334-1.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A spiritual teacher who I used to like posted the most\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/awmgM\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">obnoxious screed<\/a>\u00a0today babbling about how both Israelis and Palestinians are suffering in this \u201cwar\u201d and that, while Israel does have a \u201cright to defend itself\u201d, it\u2019s time for a ceasefire to be reached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a guy who\u2019s made a career out of presenting himself as so wise, insightful and enlightened that people should pay him money to hear what he has to say about life and spiritual attainment, finally deciding to speak out about a genocide that\u2019s been going on for nearly 20 months now, and saying the most vapid, infantile nonsense imaginable. I know teenagers who could\u2019ve done a much better job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And from where I\u2019m sitting, if this is the best you can do after a lifetime dedicated to spiritual insight and awakening, then what good was any of it? This is not a complicated issue. It doesn\u2019t take a tremendous amount of learning, wisdom or morality to wind up on the correct side of this thing. You don\u2019t have to be a buddha, a scholar or a saint to oppose an active genocide. You just have to not be all fucked up inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is only one correct position to have on the Gaza holocaust, and if you still haven\u2019t managed to find your way into that position then I think it\u2019s fair to say you have been wasting your life up until this point.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I mean, what have you even been doing here exactly? You clearly haven\u2019t been working on becoming a decent person. You haven\u2019t been learning about the world. You haven\u2019t been expanding your awareness of justice and inequality. You haven\u2019t been working on developing a truth-based relationship with reality. You haven\u2019t been developing empathy for your fellow human beings. You haven\u2019t been growing or maturing. What exactly have you been doing? How have you managed to spend your entire life avoiding all the most important things about living as a human organism on this planet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Not taking a position on Gaza is taking a position on Gaza. It\u2019s never too late to change. If you still haven\u2019t taken your stand against the genocide in Gaza, you can change this right away. If you don\u2019t know enough about what\u2019s happening, get curious and start learning. If you\u2019re having trouble discerning fact from fiction, get humble and ask questions. If you\u2019re having trouble sorting out right from wrong, get quiet inside and look in your heart. You\u2019ve got this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need any special qualifications to speak out against the Gaza holocaust.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.caitlinjohnst.one\/p\/you-are-already-fully-qualified-to\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">You are already fully qualified<\/a>\u00a0to do so. Many people far more ignorant and far less ethical than yourself are already speaking out in support of Israel\u2019s actions, so you should feel free to use your own voice just as loudly. Learn as much as you can, but don\u2019t feel like you need to be some kind of expert to speak out against a genocide that\u2019s been facilitated by your own government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Get moving on this. There\u2019s no time to lose. Children are burning, and the clock is running out.
