Apparently they\u2019re a crowd favorite \u2013 and my normal recipes (like banana pudding fluff<\/a> or Oreo fluff<\/a>) use pudding mix, but this is a jello salad recipe that\u2019s a creamy fruit salad with tons of fresh strawberry flavor too!<\/p>\n

How to Make this\u00a0Strawberry Fluff Recipe<\/h2>\n

  1. Easy strawberry fluff starts with dry jello powder.<\/strong> You don\u2019t need to actually make the jello; you just mix it with pineapple.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. I like using pineapple tidbits or crushed pineapple<\/strong>.You can use pineapple chunks if you want a chunkier salad, but traditionally it\u2019s smoother.<\/li>\n
  3. You need to drain some of the pineapple juice <\/strong>out of the can before adding the powder otherwise your fluffy jello salad will be too watery.<\/li>\n
  4. I always add fresh strawberries<\/strong> to this as well \u2013 they add a nice flavor boost.<\/li>\n
  5. I added sour cream <\/strong>to temper the sweetness of all the ingredients. You\u2019ll notice that many fluff salad recipes<\/a> add this or cottage cheese (or even cream cheese) for that reason.<\/li>\n
  6. Whipped topping makes this super simple <\/strong>\u2013 you can use fresh whipped cream but I prefer Cool Whip. Whipped cream tends to get weepy after a day or so, which is why I prefer whipped topping instead.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
