President Trump\u2019s crypto project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has now acquired over $388 million worth of digital assets, according to on-chain data.<\/p>\n

Blockchain \u201cde-anonymizing\u201d platform Arkham reports<\/a> that World Liberty Financial boosted its crypto holdings after making large Ethereum (ETH<\/a>) and Tron (TRX<\/a>) purchases late on Friday.<\/p>\n

The project recently joined<\/a> the top 0.1% of all Ethereum stakers with its aggressive ETH accumulation<\/a> spree. On the day of Trump\u2019s inauguration, World Liberty Financial bought $47 million worth of ETH, $47 million worth of Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC<\/a>), $4.7 million worth of Aave (AAVE<\/a>), $4.7 million worth of Chainlink (LINK<\/a>), $4.7 million worth of Tron (TRX<\/a>) and $4.7 million worth of Ethena (ENA<\/a>).<\/p>\n

While accumulating crypto assets, President Trump has been working<\/a> on legislation to accommodate the industry and reverse the hostile regulatory climate created by the previous presidential administration. The president recently signed an executive order to study the creation of a strategic national Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) and crypto stockpile, as well as prevent the development of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) while boosting stablecoin adoption.<\/p>\n

The order, entitled \u201cStrengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology,\u201d states the administration supports the \u201cresponsible growth\u201d and use of digital assets and blockchain technology.<\/p>\n

The order revokes former President Biden\u2019s digital asset directives and creates a new working group that will coordinate and propose clear rules of the road for cryptocurrencies within six months.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Working Group shall evaluate the potential creation and maintenance of a national digital asset stockpile and propose criteria for establishing such a stockpile, potentially derived from cryptocurrencies lawfully seized by the Federal Government through its law enforcement efforts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
