Walking through the vineyard blocks with Leo felt like attending an exclusive, masterclass-level salon in viticulture. Though the estate\u2019s winemaking chapter has evolved as founding winemaker Gilles Martin moved on, the team has made monumental strides. They have kept their eyes focused on long-term sustainability. Leo walked us through the region\u2019s agricultural history, once dominated by chemical-heavy potato, cauliflower, and duck farming. He also explained how Sparkling Pointe is actively transitioning toward low-input, self-sustaining organic practices to heal the soil. The team balances biodynamic philosophy with rigorous data to rebuild living earth through controlled, side-by-side trial blocks.<\/p>\n
