The past 2 months have been insanely busy for me. I actually had another BPPV attack in mid-January and I\u2019m still coping with lingering dizziness to date. Is this how it\u2019s going to be for the rest of my <a href=\"https:\/\/prsnlafk.com\/life-update-no-one-really-reads\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">life<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This sucks. I can function, move around and work on my computer but I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll ever be able to look down again without fear of restarting a <a href=\"https:\/\/prsnlafk.com\/vertigo-attack-a-true-story\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">vertigo<\/a> episode. The last two attacks were both triggered by that head movement. I can only briefly glance down when doing simple tasks like ironing clothes, putting socks on, or washing rice in the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I feel slightly better some days, but there\u2019s always this annoying sporadic lightheadedness. In other words, I don\u2019t feel normal. I haven\u2019t felt\u00a0100% normal since the first BPPV attack. The only consolation I have is getting rid of nystagmus within\u00a01-2\u00a0days by doing the Epley maneuver. I didn\u2019t have to suffer from nausea anymore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every day I go out and take a walk when the sun is out to get my daily dose of Vitamin D. Hopefully, it stops any more vertigo attacks from happening in the future.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BPPV Unplugged<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I uninstalled TikTok to reduce my screen <a href=\"https:\/\/prsnlafk.com\/finding-time-to-blog-regularly\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">time<\/a>, although I think I need to cut back some more on other internet-related activities outside of work. 36 years\u2019 worth of bad habits finally caught up to me I guess. Watch out for your late 30\u2019s kids. It\u2019s all downhill from here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the bright side, I\u2019ve been sleeping better lately with the help of <a href=\"https:\/\/fave.co\/3KH3emX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">silicone earplugs<\/a>. It takes a bit of getting used to, but for me, it\u2019s definitely more comfortable than foam earplugs that you have to stick inside your ear. I wish I learned about it sooner so I didn\u2019t have to avoid sleeping in the same room as my father on family vacations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And now I can <a href=\"https:\/\/prsnlafk.com\/sleep-paralysis-tickling-demon-nightmare\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">sleep<\/a> through my husband\u2019s 3 AM snoring session. He\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/sleepmdnyc.com\/sleeping-on-your-side-prevent-snoring\/#:~:text=Non-positional%20snorers%20typically%20have,and%20nose%20and%20throat%20conditions.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">non-positional snorer<\/a>, meaning he snores in every sleeping position. I\u2019m sure there are possible treatments out there and a plethora of advice but we must acknowledge the fact that most snorers are assholes even when they\u2019re awake. My mom recorded my father\u2019s snoring, showed it to him, and he simply brushed it off saying it wasn\u2019t that bad. I did the same to my <a href=\"https:\/\/prsnlafk.com\/best-real-love-story-in-the-whole-world\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">husband<\/a>, same reaction, I\u2019m the one overreacting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyway, thanks to the couple who <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Earplug\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">invented silicone earplugs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discord<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stating the obvious here, the world is in pretty bad shape. This <a href=\"https:\/\/prsnlafk.com\/well-at-least-i-dont-have-covid-19-life-updates-no-one-asked-for\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\">pandemic<\/a> and the Russia-Ukraine situation among <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_global_issues\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">other things<\/a>. Like what in the actual fuck, what year is it? Might I add, we have an ongoing maritime dispute with China too. World peace is an impossible dream.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We got our Moderna booster shot earlier today. I\u2019m not feeling anything out of the ordinary at the moment, fingers crossed, I don\u2019t experience any side effects in the next couple of days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ugh, I better get some rest.
