This month’s cake recipe from Dorie’s Anytime Cakes<\/i> by Dorie Greenspan was Bran-Berry Muffins.<\/span><\/p>\n

These are definitely not<\/u> the standard, tasteless bran muffins, but more like a tender cupcake, loaded with fresh blueberries.\u00a0 The addition of honey and yogurt brings a slightly sweet and slightly tangy flavor to them as well.\u00a0 Instead of bran, I used wheat germ, which added a bit of sweetness and nuttiness to the muffins.\u00a0 Before baking, I sprinkled some turbinado sugar on top.<\/span><\/p>\n

These were really delicious, and definitely worth making again.<\/span><\/p>\n
