  1. Omg Im absolutely sobbing. You all seem like some of the most beautiful souls. Impeccably loving, caring, and appreciative. Its great to see that theres actually families like this.

  2. i always say that i'm gonna marry rich (no not like a gold digger or for money, i'm working hard to be independently rich as well) because i desire financial comfort irrespective of whether i'm married or single but i swear if i meet the loml when we're both broke and in a hard place i literally won't care and get with him

  3. I think the most powerful verse in this is "you took my innocence, now I'll take yours". Even after leaving,, I kept silent and did tell people about the verbal and psychological abuse. I'd never witnessed a grown man smashing things before that, he stole my innocence and naivety and I kept quiet. He kept his innocence, people think he's an all round great guy.

  4. My boyfriend asked me out in the backseat of our friend’s car while we were getting gas at a gas station. Our first kiss was in the corner booth of the smoking section at Dennys (back when smoking sections were a thing in 2006 lol). Neither of those stories are particularly traditionally romantic, but they’re romantic to me. Over 18 years later, we’re still going strong and own a house together. I’ve never been big on getting married because planning a wedding sounds like my worst nightmare, but I told him I would happily accept a ring pop for tax purposes. If we ever decide to get married, it’ll be at the courthouse with his mom and that’s probably it. I don’t speak with my mom but I love his mom so much. Dennys is our anniversary spot. It’s always empty and the seasoned fries are seriously so good. I hope to be like one of the old couples at Dennys one day. We were high school sweethearts and kind of fuck-ups as kids, but he’s the most amazing man I’ve ever met. He’s a provider, he’s never even raised his voice at me in the nearly 2 decades we’ve been together, and he’s the best thing that ever happened to me. I don’t need much, just a man who loves me and treats me right.

  5. So this is where #saferwithabear context is from…yeah. As a woman and a lesbian, def feel safer living in a war or being stranded with a hungry bear, than with a lot of men. Not all men are predators or violent against women, unfortunately everyday, you don't know who respects women and who doesn't. So you are always vigilant because who wants to be a rape victim or who wants to get dead because they trusted the wrong man?
