  4. Yeah look maybe this particular video was just a favorite with us. Gen. X's ergo we grew up listening to music during the '90s. It was formative to us. However, I sincerely hope that the wider population would agree that especially the first 6 years of the '90s and the last couple of years of the '80s gave rise to some of the most incredible music that the industry is ever seen. I mean, of course it all depends on what your taste is, but if you just be objective and consider melodic quality composition lyricism performance, those '90s bands like the grunge movements was incredible because the music was of a quality that we hadn't heard since the likes of you know Zeppelin and creedence. Sure, there were a few great songs in between. However when all those Seattle bands or I say all those but they weren't that many but there was enough got signed to be labels. International distribution high quality production. There was just a solid like 5 years there where you could walk into a CD store and pretty much anything you bought would be excellent. I mean look that's not true but it wasn't like in the late '80s when you had to hunt out rare gems and or wait for bands to bring out new albums. Suddenly there was more good music than I knew what to do with. Which is probably the reason that to this day, even though say Pearl jam who I would say are probably my favorite band. I've only ever owned one of their albums, the first one. Soundgarden I only ever owned the first two. Alice in chains. I only ever owned the first two. Because it was enough it was so much cuz it wasn't like there were just a couple of good tracks on those albums and the rest was garbage. They were like great from start to finish.

Subsequently, I really came to dislike the Red Hot chili peppers. However, blood sugar sex magic is an outstanding piece of work. And as a composition it rises to probably my top 10 albums of all time. It's a journey + so interesting to see them experiment with different musical styles. It's got controversy. It's got songs that are heart-filled and meaningful. + It's got songs that are just fun and interesting. I really admire them for that album.
