I don’t get it. He acts like they keep doubling every time he gets one back. He starts with 12 on the table, the girl steals 1 (pile is now 11), the boy then takes one also (down to 10) and then he tells on the girl and takes the one from her pocket and gives it back to the guy. He then holds up TWO of them excitedly, as if the candy magically doubled itself…but when he puts them back down there’s still only 11 in the pile. Shouldn’t there be 12 now (11 original +1 magic)?? Then the girl takes 1 from the pile (back down to a 10 again), she eats it, then reaches into the BOY’S pocket and takes the one he stole and gives it back to the guy. Again he holds up TWO, as if it doubled magically again, but when he puts them both down the pile is back to 11 again! Shouldn’t the pile be 13 at this point?? 12 original, +2 magic ones, -1 that she eats = 13 total. What am I missing?????
