  1. man, this performance is PURE soul. Clapton’s tone here is just dripping with emotion, and you can hear every ounce of pain and passion in each note. The way he stretches out that so freakin iconic riff, giving it space to breathe, just hits different live.. especially in a venue like the Royal Albert Hall. You know you're witnessing a master in complete control of his craft. The whole band's tight, but Clapton? He’s on another level. Layla live like this? Untouchable.

  2. This brought my teenage years flooding back. What incredible memories listening to this song, thank you David Coverdale, thank you Whitesnake, for so many years of great music
