  1. Straight up, watched you on and off for 5 years now, this is the kind of content that actually hits. Emerald kaizo is where I picked up on you, and I watched that win live. I understand you using calcs to keep up with content at large, but the way you can make your thought process entertaining live is your bread and butter.

I truly believe you are the best nuxlocker still. The problem is that people think that being willing to spend 90% of your time in excel makes you a better nuxlocker. You are the goat. Fuck excel. Sorry the content engine forces you to enjoy the grind so much less.

  2. It's been nine years since you looked at me
Cocked your head to the side and said, "You're wiping"
Five days since you laughed at me
Saying, "Get that together, come back and see me"
Three days since the living room
I realized it's all my fault, but couldn't tell you
    Yesterday, you'd forgiven me
But it'll still be nine years since they released EK.

  3. Haven't read Artemis so don't know if it applies there, but having a pre established skill and using it to solve a problem laid by the plot doesn't constitute a Mary Sue. In both The Martian and Project Hail Mary, the characters are already established to be knowledgeable on their scientific fields and as such can use that knowledge to solve problems that arise during the story.
And even still, they never just magically solve things because the writer says so, they're constantly making mistakes and having to deal with unpredictable problems. They never do something like "well I never used a lightsaber before but I can go toe to toe with a sith lord" like another franchise.
For example, in The Martian, Watney doesn't just say "I'm a botanist" and suddenly has 5 billion potatoes, he blows himself up, turns the hab into a gas chamber and messes up the reaction like 3 times before finally managing to get it right. That's not being a Mary Sue, that's just good character writing.

I understand the "millenial" comment, Andy Weir has a distinct writing style that isn't everyone's taste and no one is forced to like it, but calling the character Mary Sues sounds incredibly disingenuous

If it was bait, masterful bait

  4. I beat Roark on my very first attempt because I had Wormadam and Grotle (the other 4 mons died lol). Grotle ate a hit from the Cranidos like a champ. It's looking like the elite starter pick.

  5. This run not counting would be autistic in a retarded way. Nuzlokers need to chill the fuck out sometimes.
So you accidentally overleveled a Pokemon and ran from a wild Pokemon with it, who fucking cares lol. The point of the level cap is you don't have an advantage in trainer battles, not to annoy you with minor mistakes. Completely asinine.
Just like "losing to Barry counts because you have Pokeballs" when the entire reason for the rule is because you can't catch Pokemon yet. Guess what, you can't catch Pokemon yet because Barry challenges you instantly. Doesn't matter if you have balls in your bag.
