  1. 7:48 I like your podcast guys, but the ones making the decisions regarding foreign policy is the Supreme National Security Council and the office of the Supreme Leader who signs off on what the council comes up with. They are well organized just like how we used to be. This is mandated per their constitution, Article 176.

  2. I don’t understand these commentators who are all certain that the Iranian leadership is “fractured”. This is all fantasy and obvious American exceptionalism. There is very little evidence of this fracture. The Iranians are debating issues but their behaviour as a country has been measured and strategic. Yes they took 80 experts with them but the US only sent 3 idiots.

  3. EU and the veto

I think it is a good thing; yes Rusland can flex its influence, every interest can, it delays the bleep of everything, the good.. but also the bad.

The EU always had this and still it progresses, this is a feature not a bug. You have to move slowly, so if you do not have the patience for that, it's probably not a really good idea anyway. It also has the benefit of effectively getting people to go along with change.

  4. I don't see Iran giving up the enriched uranium. This surprise attack has shown the Iranian regime that they need Nuclear weapons as a deterrent for the next two years. I see them agreeing to not enrich for a symbolic period of six months or something but the real bargain is that they don't crash the global economy. Meanwhile they will develop ICBM and a more secure way of enriching uranium.

  5. Nationalism can be a force for healthy pride and mutual endeavour, or it can present as corruptive Supremacy, as in Nazi Germany or modern Israel. Somewhere along the way American Nationalism morphed into toxic American Supremacy.

  6. Maywe also mention the as soon as JD "Sticky Sofa" Vance posts how proud he is about Ukraine funding being stopped, your Friend of the Pod David Lammy posts pictures of himself and JD. Neither Lammy nor Starmer have any backbone, pathetic creatures. Meanwhile, in the UK, the lib dems are vocal against Trump and the Trumpflation we his bringing to the UK, and you aren't covering them.

  7. I saw for the first time yesterday, the word 'HATE' used in many people's and nation's comments about their feelings toward USA. It's going to take generations, if ever, to change people's minds as to how evil USA has become. The coecrive 'rapist mentality' is alive and thriving in America.

  8. 1:06:30 Hasn't it been a US long term goal to make Cuba a US territory for a long time? It might even work seems almost a third of the world populiton who identify as Cuban already like in the US.

  9. America is wondering who is running the White House. It seems like since last November it seems one flew over the cuckoo nest. The oval has become the insane asylum where the criminals are running around with no idea what they are doing. The dumbest people in administration and the leader is absolutely he has no idea what he is saying from one minute to another. Dumbest president in history is running the country. He has the lowest presidential rating in the world. What a clown show. When will America great and normal again

  10. Appreciate the attention and voice this show gives to the underreported perspectives. 💔American outrage is definitely focused on the wrong things – likely intentionally. Keep fighting the good fight Ben, Tommy and team!

  11. The idiot scares all of the cabinet members and a lot of senators and congress persons. What does he have on them? Or are they expecting a payoff from him or a job or simply they are waiting in line to give him a bj? Including vance and rubio, bessant, nutlick, susie wiles, miss anyone?

  12. I appreciate the USAID guy on, but what aren't Worldos the audience to bring in for those in depth policy wonk fun? Like wtf is Crooked doing if this is a guy we're yanking off stage??

  13. Guys, there are NO negotiations as long as the US won't rein in the Israeli war criminals.
Gaza is being starved, Lebanon is being ethnically cleansed, medics and journalists murdered. Hospitals and schools have been destroyed in Iran. These are ALL acts of genocide.

It doesn't matter how this war ends. The US and Israel will be forever known as the mass murderers and war criminal nations they are, including their people who seemingly only care for their wallets, not the children being murdered in their name.

  14. I appreciate Ben's commentary on how much people in these seemingly constantly war torn countries are actually just like us. It matters because there are a lot of people who think these countries are just full of terrorists with machine guns.
I had a friend who recently said that to me, and I had to explain, "No these people are like us, with jobs and kids. They come home and watch a movie, and play a video game, watch youtube videos, and then someone lobs a bomb and destroys their entire lives". He didn't believe me until he got a coworker from Jordan who had lived in Lebanon for a long time. I couldn't believe the level of misunderstanding and lack of acceptance that these are all just people.

  15. Stop reporting on what he says if he's always lying. Be a day late. Report on what he does instead. He hasn't earned any right to be taken seriously, and when he was serious it didn't matter it was reported on the same day. He's just violating the constitution weekly, there's no rush to give him our attention.

  16. Trump spending his time looking at a chart of the duration's of various wars kind of tells you how deeply unserious and how fucked we are.

Also, Iran has a fucking government and a Constitution that delegates power very specifically. Can we stop pretending that all of them have to agree with each other or it's a "power struggle"? This language doesn't help anyone listening understand what's going on.
