Without wanting to diminish Ukraines's successes – it is ridiculous to claim that they can hit Russia's infrastructure all over Russia. That is simply not true and everyone with a map and two braincells can see that. Yes, Ukraine can hit large sections of the European part of Russia, but they cannot really touch the by far larger Asian parts of the country.
Granted, the European part of Russia is where most of the population and infrastructure is located, but that is no excuse to spread misleading information.
I remain on the side of Ukraine but am saddened by the eventual impact on our environment. Our marriage to Black Gold is insane and should have been annulled in the 70s and new forms of energy generation permitted to spring forward.
If Putin feels there is no more hope for winning this war and he gets desperate enough, whats to say he won't launch a nuke or nukes? He could be thinking, "if I can't win, no one wins" kind of thing. What's he got to lose at that point? He's old, possibly not in good health and approaching the end of his life anyhow, he could just say to hell with it and go all out as his last hurrah.

I was concerned in the darkest hours for Ukraine, compared to Russia and Putin, they are definitely freedom, democracy, and the good guys. I am an American and I am ashamed of Trump who with his following have betrayed all American values.
What people pretend not to realize is this is an ecological disaster and raising the price of oil for everyone. That includes oil used to make life saving plastic medical devices and the electronics people use to type comments. Why can’t we just have peace?

If I was Ukraine I would have special forces inside Russia. And randomly hit targets. Military factories, depots, barracks, oil and gas export hubs.
