A video circulating online from Wilmington, North Carolina is sparking concern after a man alleged his elderly neighbor was forced outside wearing only a diaper and a T-shirt.
The man who filmed the situation says he attempted to guide the elderly neighbor back indoors, but claims a caregiver intervened and told him to leave, saying she was “teaching him a lesson.”
He also alleges this wasn’t an isolated incident, stating the elderly man had reportedly been made to go outside like this before, even in colder conditions.
Authorities have since been notified as the video continues to spread across social media.

Other than the pinned comment giving most details, other neighbors reported to seeing worse like the woman taking the elderly man to the backyard to wash him with a hose. There's no official update yet as they're still investigating. Hoping this gets resolved and the caretaker arrested.

As a caregiver I am sadden deeply about her behavior. It hurts my heart. I see this so often going into homes and seeing family member doing nothing for the sick family member living in filthy condition and doing nothing about it. Living on the senior for free, it very sad, what is happening to the generation that built this country, it a shame.

People like that caregiver is on a control trip! He might not be teachable because he’s could be mentally handicapped. It’s like trying to teach someone to walk if they got a broken leg. This is what I’m worried about when I get older if I shouldn’t be needing a caregiver or I go to a home because I don’t really have anyone. I seen a couple horrible videos at nursing homes and it made me think. I don’t know what I’m going to do.
