

Meta Platforms has inaugurated its annual multi-day conference, Meta Connect, which began on Wednesday. Meta has expanded its range of AI wearables by introducing Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 and Meta VR Glasses. Even though there is no news about the introduction of Meta’s VR glasses in India, the tech giant has introduced the third-generation Ray-Ban Meta Glasses in India. The new generation introduces an addition to the lineup with various frame styles including Aviator and Zena in addition to Wayfarer. The new generation of Meta Glasses comes with enhanced battery life, audio capture, camera performance, and design.
These AI glasses have been introduced in India in three different frame styles, namely Wayfarer, Aviator, and Zena. Meta offers a total of 27 color and lens combinations internationally, including Black, Havana, and seasonal colors.
Starting at ₹44,300 in India, the latest AI glasses from Meta include the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 glasses in Wayfarer, Aviator, and Zena frames with selected lenses and frames. Transitions variants start from ₹50,100, while the Polarized variants cost ₹46,500.
In comparison, Ray-Ban introduced the Meta Gen 2 in India starting at ₹39,900. The glasses had been introduced in Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner frames, and their prices varied based on the frame style and configuration. Thus, the starting price of Gen 3 in India is ₹4,400 higher than that of Gen 2.
