Vault of Horror v1 #13, 1950 – After murdering their uncle, a trio of greedy relatives vie for the entire family fortune. When a will is presented with a single beneficiary, the remaining two connive to keep it all. Wally Wood‘s inks are welcome enhancement to otherwise mediocre pencils. While not perfect, there are several small details to admire. Note the effort put into the opening panel (see interior page below). Other artists in this golden age comic include Johnny Craig, Al Feldstein and Graham Ingels. Cover by Craig.
