  1. The patagonia is good but its to short big design floor i thought also sized up made no difference. Is extremely good waterproof wise though RAB make the best outdoor jackets imo 🇬🇧.

  2. Get what ya pay for…applies to everything in life , just about.

  3. fool. With a can of hydrophobic spray, I can make a piece of paper as waterproof as your soiled jacket.

  4. for me that is expensive vs fucking expensive

  5. North face is cheap lmao😅😂🤣

  6. Bro 55$ raincoat is too expensive for our country

  7. $179 is cheap for rain jacket. Step up to a pro shell goretex by arcteryx

  8. Big rain jacket doesn’t want you to know that you can waterproof most garments with dwr by yourself

  9. Never listen to people on YT shorts

  10. It is only plastic vs plastic bag quality

  11. Eveyone a social media marketer now 😂like what kind of advertising is this lol

  12. They have cheap shit that works too just gotta look around and not be a slave to brands

  13. They all soak through within an hour anyway. Army surplus rain ponchos are the best protection against the rain and they're like 30 bucks

  14. Now do both while faci g the shower

  15. I’ll stick with my $50 high-quality compact umbrella i bought it in college in 2015, purchased a $100 two-person full-size one in 2021 that i now keep in my entry doorway and the compact one under my driver seat. Never looking back. I feel the breeze, stay cool, comfy, and always prepared. Investment well made.

  16. Wear it daily for a month and redo the test

  17. Trash bag with an extra hole and you got a non wet no more "poncho"

  18. Second one was not supposed to be that dry lmao

  19. The rain coats are different shells. You can get a $5 hard cover coat and stay dry

  20. Never ever they selling north face for 50$ 😂😂

  21. I'm so rich I thought the Patagonia was the cheap one. Just kidding, just used to crazy prices all around me.

  22. With today’s prices, I thought the first one was cheap

  23. it’s called goretek this has been around for years lol

  24. It is carcinogen especially when it contact with water

  25. That’s just old vs new 😂 when the DWR has worn off. Both jackets will be useless in a couple of years. Non goretex waterproofs degrade over a couple of years and need to be replaced.
My 30 year old goretex jackets are still going strong after a good reproof (reproofing isn’t the same for non-membrane based waterproofs)

  26. Because there is a layer of Pfas on it!! Super bad for the envoirment 😢(3M)

  27. I prefer a plastic poncho

  28. Купить просто дождевик . Делов то

  29. All new jackets are waxed with water repelent

  30. 190€ is also cheap for a rain jacket. I don't have money for any of those right now, but just saying. Bought a Helly Hansen of around 400 more than 7 years ago. Is the only jacket I have and the only I need.

  31. I buy one from the brand name rockbros or someting, about 30$ and the quality is pretty good, but not have a pocket inside so -2 point

  32. I use that patagonia jacket when it rains keeps me dry all day

  33. Northface is overpriced and not a good brand. There are lot of cheaper brands that could match the quality of the coat that cost 179$

  34. Do not buy anything Patagonia. Years ago got one Softshell from them and loved it. Scratched it a little bit and decided to buy exactly the same one.

They changed the material, what was soft, pliable and breathable turned into exactly the opposite. I hid the tag and went to work in the new jacket during the rain and came in soaking wet. Not from rain, from sweat.

  35. Too bad that waterproof one is made with pfas

  36. Your shorts are soaked though

  37. Man i used similar Northface jacket for 10h bicycle and was dry
