I think it’s absolutely absurd that both don’t have to agree. My wife moved out Friday to an apartment I didn’t know about. Took our 4 yo son and started dating another guy who she’s introduced to our son, is openly admitting to sleeping with the guy and there’s nothing I can do. I don’t want the divorce. I want her to get this fling out of the way and get home so our son can have both parents under the same roof.
If my spouse and I have been separated for 15yr but are now headed for divorce. We have no known marital property, so will I still need to complete the marital property section, meaning do I need to make know what I have in my accounts etc?
Very insane that someone emotionally abusing before they actually do harm isn't ground to divorce. It's no wonder why so many women scream for help and the only time they receive help or separation is when the damage is already done. wow.
Why should 2 people be living separate for 1 year before they can file an uncontested divorce? That's so unfair when people just want to be done with it

This should be a require class to take before a state issues a marriage certificate.

Sc had the worse divorce laws. My divorce was over in 4 months in FL… Uncontested!
How do you try to get laws changed. These grounds are absolutely insane. These laws need to be updated severely
