  2. I can't find mine referenced anywhere…
Two weeks ago I developed sciatica down my right leg and unlike last time – 10 years ago – I'm retired and so was not motivated to actually cycle to work – yes – seems bonkers. Walking was agony but I could cycle – and once at work all I needed was a tea trolley to use as a walking aid …
    So I kept active.

This time around the worst symptom has been the inability to lie down and sleep so I was sitting in a chair 24/7 – eventually the discomfort from my swollen feet and ankles overtook the sciatica which has now faded… I'm finding that simple jiggling around while pivoting on my toes while sitting is doing the trick.
Crazy that a simple mechanical impingement on a nerve in your back can force you to become inactive and lead to this !

I anticipate investing in a foot / calf massage device in the nearish future.

  3. It is not as simple as you see it. It can be an allergie or infaction too. Or too much water drinking or…….

  4. A very useful video. At least I know now what is causing it.

  5. Eat at home
Fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, lean meat, yogurt, grains
    Rest, sleep laying down
    Fluids such as water

  6. You can buy Eliquis 5 mg and take two tablets in the morning and two at night for seven days.

For the next three weeks take only 2 tables in the morning…

    The swelling will disappear…

  7. I have a chronic fracture in my 5th metatarsal from 7 months ago, and 7 weeks ago, I injured the same foot again by tearing a ligament. My whole foot stays swollen all the time. MRI showed lots of bone marrow edema. How can I have lots of edema but yet it's a chronic fracture due to less blood flow. It's really painful, but I have a loss of feeling on the skin and discolored skin. I use ice every day and no walking, but I'm wondering if i should use heat to help blood flow? Or should I not become of the edema?

  8. I'm 29 years old and I have swelling in only my right leg, the hole leg and thigh is swollen and I have a huge hump above my knee cap that doesn't hurt at all, it just heats up whenever I hsve something sitting on it or if I've been on my feet all day… and my foot is NOT swollen at all. It looks completely normal.
This all happened when I went to the gym and wanted to squat a 30 lb bar…as I squatted I felt a massive pinch in the back of the knee and it's been that way ever sense. I've done an mri and xray on my knee and it all shows that everything is good accept for the inflammation they see above the knee cap…what do I do? It's been almost 3 years

  9. Im worried about my dad he was walking down the stairs and fell on a object at work and now his foot swollen

  10. Too simplistic. At least suggest what type of doctor to visit. Thanks

  11. Durva Swaras from Planet Ayurveda helped reduce my swelling caused by edema. It’s been a relief to finally find something that works.

  12. Wow both of my legs swells and the doctor doesn’t know what it’s from but she said it could be bad circulation so I guess I should go to the doctors and do more testing

  14. Do compression socks work. I have diabetes and now and then just my left foot is swollen and ankle.

  15. I had trauma to my left knee and ankle when my chiropractor pulled on my ankle to loosen it.

Now both my feet and lower legs are swollen, it hurts to walk, toes won’t move well and it’s painful.

My fingers are also swollen in the morning and painful.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!

    Thank you!

  16. What if it’s none of those reasons? My doctor said cut in salt, move more, drink more water.

  17. Could Sciatica cause it too?

  18. i have atrial fib but its barely noticable. I exercise by walking. Curious if having frozen my feet several times as a kid growing up would contribute to this. I started taking magnesium aling withvmy nirmal meds multivitamin seems to help
