  1. Bro you are a life saver!!! I had an ankle sprain 10 months ago and after trying everything, my pain didn't go away. I don't have continuous pain, can walk normally. But whenever I put excess pressure on the front half of my ankle, the sinus tarsi joint gives heavy pain. And when I lie down for a while and start walking, I can't balance my feet. It takes around 2-3 mins to get to normal stage. And this situation is neither improving nor worsening. I am stuck!!!!

  2. I have pain in that area for over a year ankle is sore and giving way when I load tge foot with knee going over the foot , any help would be appreciated

  3. I've had this years and no one believed me because of how young I am. I'm so glad I've found a perfect description of my problem from someone else.

  4. Really surgery??? Think theres other options through physical therapy wiuld fix…any correlation with this and peroneal tendonitis?

  5. I have exactly pain in this area but I have a bow foot, I am confused.

  6. I had an achilles sprain over the past month. I think rehabbing at the gym put some strain on this particualr Sinus area. I was doing calf raises and static holds with a bent knee and up on my tip toe. Could that cause some S.I. overuse.. I have since stopped the static holds to rest the SI area. Anything helps.

  7. i rolled my foot off a deck on a job, this was a year in a half ago and the pain has gotten worse and worse. i have been in a brace for months and doing my own doc on it. Any advice?

  8. Can this cause the foot to fall asleep on long runs? I've been having an issue with pain in that area and my foot falling asleep while running. I train for triathlon and my foot will go numb within the 1st couple miles and stay that way for and hour then the feeling gradually returns. Nothing more annoying than running on a dead stump. I saw a doctor over year ago. They took an exray and only suggested a cortisone shot which I refused. The sinus Tarsi pain comes and goes and have run through the pain which only last about a mile in most cases, but the numbing is really concerning and slows my race pace. How do I present this to a expert to get it resolved? I don't want to walk in and say "I saw this on youtube". You can guess how that gets reacted to. Would a chiropractor be able to help vs a foot doctor?

  9. What kind of surgery fixes this problem

  10. If this is what I have then it’s the lost painful thing I’ve felt at time…. Would always happen mid way through my day, and after the day was over OMG the pain… the worse pain was actually having it suspended in the air…. Omg! Why was that the worst…

  11. I self diagnosed this condition myself as my first consultant said there was nothing wrong. I finally convinced them I had STS so they operated. I had some relief for a few months but it’s now back , the pain is incredible I’ve had various cortisone injections none of the helped. I don’t know of anything that helps the pain I’ve been living with this since 2015 it’s changed my life .

  12. My doc operated on me for osteochondrial lesion of the talus but was wrong. I have chronic STS. I hate my podiatrist. She is absolutely useless.

  13. If I put.my.foot up it's so painful for 5 minutes when I try walking again. or when I'm driving When I get out of the car I have to put my foot down for a couple of minutes before I can walk on it

  14. I rolled my ankle severely while playing football 9 years ago. I've been dealing with this excruciating pain all these years & I just can't seem to get rid of it!

  15. I used SuperFeet green insoles that fixed the pain. If I don’t wear them & walk in 👟 or 🩴, top of my feet get sore

More recently, i was standing @ thought a wasp got in my left 👟& stung me. It felt what I imagine a 🦂 sting would feel like. I need to get it checked out again as this was far worse than when I was originally diagnosed several years ago & resolved w/insoles.

  16. Suffered with this issue for years and its only after your video that I can share its name with my clinical team. Thank you.

  17. Dr where are you located? I’m in L.A I been suffering with this similar type of pain for 2 years since I had my Brostrom surgery on the opposite ankle. I noticed this pain when I was post-op and did not have necessary DME especially when I showered I put all my weight on my good foot😢😢 since then I’ve had this off and on with a few injections now becoming more frequent . I’ve had CT of the ankle early this year which did not show ligament abnormalities.

  18. please what surgery is suggested when it becomes chronic ?

  19. Is this detectable through MRI?

  20. what If only get this feeling during running? could it still be the same problem?

  21. This is exactly what I have been dealing with for over 5 years now. It doesn't appear on X-Rays and the doctors I have seen seem to think there is nothing wrong, to the point where I have reached a limit to acquiring professional assistance in my community on Canadian healthcare. The pain, especially when the ankle locks up, is so severe that I have been out of work for 2 years without compensation. Thank you for explaining this injury. Hopefully I can now find someone to follow up on it and help me out. This injury has really altered my life for the worse. Best wishes.

  22. I had a soccer match yesterday and my foot it’s in pain

  23. This is what's happening to me – flat footage. X-rays MRI they told me It's arthritis. I've never aged with that. Help please…..oh going on for 3 years

  24. I noticed a pain in that area but only when I'm squatting heavy. Been looking for more info. Found it here

  31. Is it curable? Possible to get rid of? I suffer from it

  32. I have cerebral palsy and was diagnosed with this a few weeks ago. I am flat footed and will soon need surgery

  33. I’ve got this and it’s horrible

  34. I sprained my ankle 20 years ago and have a large bulge from exactly that area. Dr said it is a limpoma. I broke that same ankle 3 years ago and had ORIF on both tibia & fibia with metal plates on both sides. The bulge today is the size of a golf ball and causes me a lot of pain. I cannot point my foot or move from side to side. Some nights after long day, the pain is excruciating. Could all this be Sinus tarsi syndrome? Dr said to have limpoma removed if causing pain but I’m not sure I want another surgery

  35. Man I need to loosen my calf because it’s effecting my mobility I need to stretch my calf’s

  36. I just woke up one morning and had it

  37. Is it possible for an ankle sprain to turn into sinus tarsi about a decade after the injury? My ankle hasn't been injured recently but for the last 3 years I've been dealing with intermittent pain at my ankle and tingling sensations in my foot and my GP couldn't find anything wrong. This syndrome is what most closely matches the pain location. I badly sprained that ankle as a preteen but my parents never brought me to a doctor to get it checked out, so I wonder if maybe it just didn't heal right?

  38. nice solution . I Just plan to apply tonight at my wife problem . many thanks !
