Good afternoon madam, am teaching for my first time here out of Africa in a bilingual class, Turkish and English, I am an English teacher, how do I arrange my lesson for the first day since we two in a classroom??
That is crazy to me that students can enter the building any time they want. In my state there is a set time the doors open – 30 minutes before the first bell. People can come early but they will be sitting in their car in the car line or standing outside the door if they are a walker till the school staff opens the door. Parents don't come into school the first day. Or ever. That's what Back to School night is for.

How many hours should be for kg class?
What if you are hired like 2 days before kindergarten starts? Where do you start?
Unfortunately we have scheduled times to be on the playground so not all classes are out at same time.
We have to be in our room at 7:10 am and kids arrive then. The first bell rings at 7:35 am. Tardy is 7:40.
If we had school nurses here in Ontario, Canada… that would be like winning the lottery!
