As Sailfish Brewing Company announces the closing of their Vero Beach location, the team reaffirms their commitment to quality and assures their loyal drinkers that their beer will still be around, and their taps will still be close.
From Sailfish Brewing:
How do you possibly summarize five years into one Facebook post?
Sailfish Vero Beach was a hidden gem, and we knew it from day one. We had the privilege of welcoming people from all over the world who came to Vero to relax, along with the countless locals who chose us again and again.
We shared cold beers on the patio off Flamevine. We celebrated weddings, birthdays, holidays, victories, and lives well lived. We laughed through floods, ocean breezes, busy nights, and unforgettable moments.
But more than anything, Sailfish Vero was a place where friendships happened naturally — on both sides of the bar — over burgers and plenty of pints.
As our lease for the Vero Beach location comes to an end, and with rising operating costs continuing to impact businesses everywhere, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the Vero Brewpub and focus our attention on our core business — brewing and distributing beer throughout Florida.
While this chapter in Vero has come to an end, Sailfish is not leaving Vero Beach. You’ll still be able to find Sailfish beers at restaurants, bars, golf clubs, stores, and locations all throughout our community for years to come.
And if you happen to head over that new bridge down the road, you’ll still find us at the Sailfish Brewery in Fort Pierce, where the cold beer, good vibes, and familiar faces are always waiting for you.
That’s our fish story — and we’d love to hear yours too.

About Sailfish Brewing
The joy of creating a new, better tasting beer is what first drew three local Florida friends to try their hand at homebrewing. Together, they experimented and refined their product and beer they began brewing in a garage quickly gained followers.
From their humble beginnings, they then took their passion to local festivals, offering other beer enthusiasts a taste of a beer they truly believed in; a beer born right in their neighborhood, by their hands, for their community. They used the positive feedback from the crowds to get ideas, tweak their recipes and generate a series of craft ales. The popularity and excitement around their Sailfish beers quickly grew, thrusting the team to expand their adventure by creating the first craft brewery and brewpub in Fort Pierce, Florida.
