  1. 🫨*FLASH BACK* customer specifically states that their vegan over the phone and now the servers are asking the kitchen staff if honey is vegan. Sometimes I really didn’t paid enough to do that job 😅, we ended up saying that it was vegan because it was made by bees and not animals and if the customer really cares that much about being vegan then they should already know the answer to that question. Later I found out that it’s a more nuanced topic in the vegan community, apparently vegans decide where they want to draw that line, some feel bad taking the bees food and others decide to only exclude animal products from their diets

  2. I feel like we need to crowd fund a bistro huddy movie. Think like the movie waiting. Making fun of restaurant life, combined with the nutty professor because Drew plays all the parts like Eddie Murphy did. I would pay good money to see that.

  3. Line cooks can maybe walk food out , chefs can’t leave the kitchen when we have guests . They bite . However , line cooks and prep can’t talk to the guests because they say shit like that . Most chefs are assholes secretly or publicly . Line cooks are nice assholes . Prep guys are shady af and can supply you with almost anything .

  4. i work at starbucks and a grown ass 50 something year old man walked up to the drive thru window SCREAMING at me becausei only gave him 1 butter and not 2 for his bagel. what is up with butter?
